Each AI action — completion, generation, refactoring, security scan, error explanation — uses 1 credit. Credits reset monthly. The system automatically picks the best model for each task, so you get premium AI (Claude Sonnet 4, GPT-4o) on complex work and fast AI on simple tasks. Unused credits do not roll over.
Which AI models can I use?
Free plans include GPT-4o Mini and Claude Haiku 4 — fast models great for completions and quick edits. Starter and above unlock all 4 models: Claude Sonnet 4 and GPT-4o for heavy-lifting tasks like code generation, refactoring, and security scanning, plus the fast models for everything else. You can also pick your preferred model in the AI settings panel.
Can I change plans later?
Anytime. Upgrade or downgrade from your settings. Changes are prorated so you only pay the difference.
What happens when I hit a limit?
You get a clear message telling you exactly which limit you reached and which plan removes it. Your work stays safe. Nothing gets deleted.
